Certain

Six seagulls sitting on a rail

At times in life we are all certain.

All certain of life.

Things are certain.

We hold onto these things as being certain.

Then as life takes its time with us, we become less certain.

Less certain about many things.

Many things once paramount dwindle into the unimportant.

Of that I am certain.

I am not certain about much of anything anymore, save one thing.

That love is paramount.

That friendship is paramount

That I treasure my family and my friends as much as life itself.

In deed, you are life itself.

From my Heart . . . . . .  Thanks for being in my life.

Too often people wait until they are dead to gather the ones most important to

            themselves.

Today, I ain’t yet dead.

So, thanks.  I love each of you.

Enough said.
